1-Are-they some risks when practicing mountain sports
with a guide?:
Yes, even with a mountain guide, mountain sports are not
risk-free! Mountain guides are professionals regularly trained
to deal with risk managing. But some of the risks, because of
their unpredictable or complex character for example, can't
be eluded. For instance: stone falls, serac collapse, crevasse,
avalanches etc..You have to share those risks with us if you
come with us!
2-Are we insured when we practice these sports?
It is your responsability to check your own insurance
cover. Mountain guides have a professional insurance that cover
you in case of professional fault.
3-What is included in the price shown?
Excepted if mentioned, prices shown are only the guiding
fees. They do not include other fees like: ski-pass, transportation,
food, hotel, gear to hire...
4-How many people to start an activity?
For private guiding: 1 pers. For collective guiding: this
is mentioned on the activity pages.
5-How to book an activity?:
You can use: telephone, mail or email. When activity cost exceed
90€, you must pay a 30% deposit in advance.
6-What happen in case of cancellation?
A-During the activity: activities can be modified
or cancelled by the guide because of safety measures, weather
or other problems with the group. Depending on the case, there
will be no refund (especially when the activity is cancelled
because one is not trained enough, not properly equiped, do
not have the specified practice level, do not obey to guides
recomendations etc..).
B-Before the activity starting:
1-Cancellation by the guide: for bad
weather forecast or other problems: guide fees are refund.
2-Cancellation by the customer:
-Less then 7
days before the starting: 100% of the fees must be payed.
-Between 7 to
15 days before the starting: the déposit will be kept
by the guide.
-More then 15
days before the starting: 100% of the fees will be refund.
