PARTICIPATION:
The practice of activities requires good health, the absence of medical contraindications and a physical condition adapted to the chosen activity.
Prerequisites:
-For canyoning it is imperative to know how to swim and be over 10 years old.
-For mountain biking: you must know how to ride a bike on rough terrain.
Minors: Minors must have the authorization of their parents or guardians. They must be accompanied during the activity by a responsible adult.
REGISTRATION:
Any registration for an activity whose total amount is greater than €90 will be validated upon receipt of a 30% deposit. When a person registers on behalf of another person or a group, it is their responsibility to transmit all the information given to them to the other participants.
SAFETY and RISKS:
Participation in an activity requires scrupulously following the instructions given by the guides.
The mountain guide is a trained professional who is regularly trained to manage and reduce risks. However, some risks, due to their random or complex nature for example, cannot be completely avoided (rock falls, serac falls, crevasse falls, avalanches, etc.). You must therefore accept this before registering for an activity.
INSURANCE:
It is the responsibility of each participant to check their own coverage (civil liability, search and evacuation, etc.).
It is mandatory to be insured for civil liability (CL) and search/evacuation to participate in the activities.
The mountain guide has professional CL insurance which does not replace your own.
PRICES and PAYMENT OF ACTIVITIES:
The prices of the activities are only those of the guide’s services and do not include transport costs, ski lifts, meals, accommodation, guide fees (meals, overnight stay in a refuge, etc.), equipment for rent (crampons, skis, etc.).
The balance must be paid before the start of the activity (7 days before for amounts over €350) by check, cash or bank transfer.
DEPARTURE OF ACTIVITIES:
For group outings, a minimum number of participants is required, which varies depending on the activity, to ensure departure.
CANCELLATION:
Generally speaking, weather conditions are not a reason for cancellation unless the guide considers that they threaten the safety of the participants.
A- Cancellation during the activity:
A1- Cancellation by the guide:
Activities may be modified or cancelled by the guide in view of the weather forecast, conditions on the ground and the safety of the group. When the activity is cancelled due to a fault attributable to the participant (insufficient training, failure to follow instructions, etc.), the latter will not be able to claim any refund.
A2- Cancellation by the client:
The price of the activity is entirely due.
B- Cancellation before the activity takes place:
