Around Lake Annecy there are multiple possibilities for mountain bike loops through forests or mountain pastures with magnificent views. As a qualified instructor, I offer to guide you on the best routes in the area. From quiet white paths to fun single tracks; whether you want to tease the slopes or quietly explore the vast network of paths through the Bauges and Aravis, there is something to make the outing of your dreams!

Take full advantage of your holidays around Annecy lake by being accompanied by an experienced mountain bike guide who knows the region. I will select the route that suits you, providing you with the necessary help to have the best possible outing.

Whether you are alone or with a group of friends, I will offer you a “tailor-made” tour, from a peaceful ride to the longest or most technical loops. I offer 2.5 hour cross-country outings around Doussard and Faverges or longer outings for the day or several days in the Bauges or Aravis massif.

Several levels of mountainbike outings are possible:

– easy: you know how to ride a bike and you want to ride to discover the area on small roads and paths that are not too steep. Less than 300m of elevation gain, not very technical paths, short passages where you may have to get off the mountain bike.
– moderate: you are athletic and regularly ride a mountain bike. The descents and climbs can be quite steep, you know how to follow a single track and take small steps. 300m to 800m of elevation gain do not scare you.
– expert: very athletic and very regularly ride a mountain bike, you control your bike well in steep or technical parts and are not afraid of intense efforts. You enjoy the trial passages. 500 to 1500m of elevation gain per outing.

Enjoy Doussard and Faverges MTB trails

There are 120 km of maintained mountain bike trails in the Sources du Lac d’Annecy area, from the top of Sambuy down to Lake Annecy via the plain. The trails are linking small villages, sometimes wandering in the mountains. You’ll go through forest, follow river banks, use dirt roads or single tracks.

Please note that I do not provide the mountain bikes or equipment. It is possible to rent a mountain bike in a shop around the lake.
